About Amy
Amy filled every room she entered with kindness, quiet wit, and a gentle spirit that put others at ease. A devoted Christian, loving mother and wife, and cherished friend, she cared deeply for everyone around her and found joy in helping others feel seen, valued, and loved. Her warmth, faith, and happy heart touched countless lives, and those who knew her carry her example forward.
We gather to celebrate the beautiful gift of the time we shared with Amy—a life lived with grace, compassion, and love.

“Amy and I took long walks around the grounds and neighborhoods of Silverado Country Club. We ccould walk and talk for hours. No matter how much time had passed between visits, we caught up quickly and shared how our lives were going. Amy always inspired me in the way she would say that God was leading her in a decision, or that she was praying about a situation...her faith was always evident. My husband, Neill, and I had the privilege of being in a Bible study group with Amy and Ben, and two other couples. That's how I got to know Amy better -- know her sense of humor, generosity, and insights about what we were studying. The couples group disbanded. Over the years, Amy invited me to.join her at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and also an online Bible study group. I treasure those memories of studying God's word with Amy. What a blessing to know that sweet Amy is with Jesus and that we will see her again.”

“Attached photo: Great memories of wine tasting with Amy, Ben and family - October 2017 We all loved Amy’s peaceable gentle spirit; she did not seek the spotlight and loved warmly in her own steady way. Over the years, I admired how she drew closer and closer to the Lord Jesus through her devoted study of God’s Word. Ben, your marriage to Amy was a beautiful, faithful example to so many of us- a quiet testimony of what it looks like to love someone well for a lifetime. And now as 1 Corinthians 13:12 reminds us, she no longer sees “through a glass darkly” but now beholds her Savior face to face, and all she believed by faith she now knows fully.”

“Dear Ben, There just isn’t words words to express my deepest heartfelt sympathies to you and your beautiful family. I know how much Amy loved and adored you all. I loved talking with her before and after class asking her for Bailey updates after Bailey graduated high school. She was always so proud of you all. I will cherish her kind spirit and infectious laugh and the many memories I have of her and also the two of you together taking my fitness classes over the many years. “Omg Ben I had no idea she was sick! I’m so sad to hear this news…..I’ll always remember Amy’s sarcastic humor (just like mine) while we worked at Disney. She was the best! Her mild temperament was so comforting when the rest of us were frantic. She kept us grounded! I’m praying for you and the family during this time but knowing Amy is in Heaven is so very comforting….sending lots of hugs your way. 🙏😘”
